At Unity we’re pleased to welcome three new members of staff to the Scout & Guide Service Team as account handlers.
James Hart was a key account handler in various insurance companies, including Zurich, for education, dealing with multi academy trusts and schools.
Jemma Smytherman brings 19 years Insurance experience mainly working in claims for large insurance companies, including Aviva and RSA.
Our newest recruit, Jodie Henry is CCI (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualified and has 18 years Insurance experience working for a Lloyds Broker and Lloyds Syndicates, Re-Insurer, Claims Handling Agent and direct for the Insured.
Each new Account Handler is adding to the existing skills of Unity Insurance Services. All three have worked in leading insurance organisations and are very much focussed on customer care, recognising the importance of providing a great level of service.
Our recent customer service surveys show that our team are our greatest asset. Even during the Covid pandemic and working from home, our recent surveys of new and renewing Scout customers show that 87% were very satisfied or satisfied with the service from us. (Based on 245 replies to our survey from April to December 2020).
Our new staff members will help us build on these results. James, Jemma and Jodie (The 3 J’s) are looking at the work with fresh eyes to help offer value to our Scout and Girlguiding customers with ideas for efficiency, all the while retaining focus on the client base through outstanding customer service. Adding this new knowledge to the over 50 years’ collective experience of Karen, Georgia and Lynsey at Unity, we believe we have a winning combination supporting our Scouting and Girlguiding customers with their insurance cover and questions.
