We're open for business - a Coronavirus update

Updated 13 December 2021

In these unprecedented times, we wanted to let you know that Unity is open for business, ready to support our customers, and committed to maintaining our high level of service.

Following the Government’s guidance and Prime Minister confirming the move to Plan B in England (8 December 2021), we’ve decided that the most responsible course of action is for the majority of our staff to work from home most days.

We've already put in place systems and facilities for them to do so and we’re well set up now for flexible and remote working.

Paying your insurance premium

If you’re trying to make a payment we would encourage you to do so via bank transfer where possible to avoid delay (our account details are noted on your invoice).

Alternatively, if you want to make a card payment, please advise your account handler and we will arrange for an authorised member of staff to contact you directly.

Cheques

In line with the government’s announcement, we’re trying to stop all non-essential work travel, such as daily trips to the bank.  Therefore, to avoid delays in cover, please post your payment early enough, to allow us extra time to process your cheque, ahead of your policy start or renewal date.

Going forward

We’ll be monitoring Government updates and we’ll be taking the appropriate measures in line with their advice accordingly.
