19 March 2020 We're open for business - a Coronavirus update Updated 24 March 2020 In these unprecedented times, we wanted to let you know that Unity is open for business, ready to support our customers, and committed to maintaining our high level of service. Following the Government’s guidance, we’ve decided that the most responsible course of action is for the majority of our staff to work from home and this week we’ve put in place systems and facilities for them to do so and we’re well set up now for flexible and remote working. Alternatively, if you want to make a card payment, please advise your account handler and we will arrange for an authorised member of staff to contact you directly. Unfortunately we’re no longer able to accept payments by cheque. This follows the government’s announcement (23 March) to stop all non-essential work travel. Therefore we will not be able to bank cheques, as before. Going forward We’ll be monitoring Government updates and we’ll be taking the appropriate measures in line with their advice accordingly.
