Alex joined Unity in 2021 as a New Business Account Handler. He has a wealth of knowledge and great understanding of insurance products covering personal lines to commercial companies. He works with a personable approach under a high level of customer service and competency for his clients. Unity has given Alex the opportunity to grow as an individual pursuing his insurance career while building relationships with colleagues, clients and the charity sector. Alex has been personally involved with CIC's, Charities and not for profit organisations, as well as putting on music events to fund raise for charities in the past.  

Ben joined Unity in September 2024 as the company’s first-ever apprentice, marking the start of his insurance career. While studying for his CII qualification, he will be working across various departments to gain a deep understanding of Unity and our role of as a Broker. Previously, he worked at the Hilton Hotel in Brighton during college, where he developed strong people skills. Ben appreciates Unity’s friendly and kind working environment. Outside of work, he enjoys graphic design and spending time with loved ones.

Emma joined Unity in 2023 having previously worked compliance at a wealth Management Company. She enjoys the office culture and that her role gives her a variety of opportunities in interact with her colleagues. She excels in ensuring an excellent customer journey and that every client is treated fairly. Emma loves music and when not at work will go see live music or brave the British weather to attend festivals.

Fiona joined Unity 2019 as the New Business Team Leader and has since been promoted to the Renewal Manager. Fiona has dedicated her whole career to insurance and has built a remarkable wealth of knowledge. She enjoys the vibrant office and the ability to be an individual as well as part of the team. She strives in helping everyone develop and grow. One of her core beliefs is delivering excellent customer service to ensure all customers are protected. Fiona has been a member of The Scout Association since her late teens and is currently a Cub leader to date. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs, painting and spending time with her friends and family.

Garry joined Unity in 2022 with over 30 years Insurance Broking experience.  In the past few years Garry has been developing and expanding SME teams and niche schemes, also introducing new operating systems to improve efficiency and process within a regulated environment.  In his spare time he is an avid Chelsea and Harlequins fan, and also is part of the Youth Coaching set up at Brighton RFC in addition to his role as Vice President.  He is married with four children and enjoys family time which keeps him busy when he is not in work.

Karen joined Unity in 1988 and has had a variety of roles starting as an Office Junior, Senior Account Handler and Service Team Leader. She is fond of her colleagues and the support they provide. She loves that Unity give all of their profits back to the Scouts which helps the youth of today make an impact on their lives and others on a daily basis. She gets great satisfaction from helping others and working through difficult situations to make it easier for others. Outside of work Karen is a Dementia Friend and also supports the Alzheimer's Society and Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital. She also likes to spend time reading, watching movies, crafting and spending time with her friends and family.

Kylie joined Unity in 2022 as a New Business Account Handler and since been promoted to an Account Exec. She has a wealth of knowledge stemming from her experience in account management. Kylie loves the culture here at Unity as it has allowed her to flourish and grow. She has been involved in numerous projects abroad in Kenya and Mongolia. Kylie enjoys spending time with her family, horse riding and long walks. 

Lizzie joined Unity in November 2023 as a Senior Account Handler and was promoted to Deputy Renewals Manager in September 2024. With over ten years experience in sales and customer service within the insurance sector, Lizzie’s top priority is the customer. Unity’s values align closely with Lizzie’s own and is proud to work for a company that gives back and donates profits back to charity. Outside of work, Lizzie enjoys her children, beach days and watching boxing.

Lynsey joined Unity in 2020 as an Account Handler having previous experience within Critical Illness claims.  Alongside her role, she is also one of the Mental Health First Aiders for her colleagues across Unity and the Scouts. She likes that she is respected as an individual and is able to express her ideas knowing that she will be heard. It is all about the people for Lynsey, customer and colleagues alike. Her family is her world and she enjoys listening to loud music. 

Natalie joined Unity in November 2024 and has quickly settled into her role, enjoying both the work and being part of the renewals team. She is passionate about delivering great service and supporting clients with their insurance needs.

Outside of work, Natalie volunteers for a local loneliness charity, acting as a telephone befriender for elderly and vulnerable people. As a dedicated Brighton & Hove Albion fan, she also enjoys supporting the seagulls!

Phil joined Unity in 2014 as Sales Manager and, through various promotions, has risen to Managing Director. With a strong background of banking and insurance, he has great industry expertise from the financial sector. He thrives on collaborating with an excellent team, customers, and partners to create a fun and dynamic environment. He believes Unity’s values offer an open and supportive culture where everyone can grow. In his words, “Each day is different, working with charities means we’re always supporting people who are achieving amazing things.” Outside of work, he is a trustee for a local youth group, enjoys sailing, and making memories with his young family.

Ravi joined Unity in February 2024. He is a Chartered Insurance Broker, holding an Advanced Diploma in Insurance and Associate membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). With over 10 years of experience advising charities on risk management and insurance, and a background in managing technical liability claims, he brings a wealth of expertise to the Unity team. Ravi enjoys working alongside people who share the mission of giving back. As the leader of the new business, renewals, and marketing teams, Ravi is focused on helping more charities make informed insurance decisions. Outside of work, he loves being a Dad, cooking, listening to music, and traveling with his family.

Rob joined Unity in April 2024, bringing a diverse background from years of travelling and working in various roles outside of insurance. Seeking stability and growth, Unity provided the perfect opportunity to launch a new career. Since starting, Rob has found the role fulfilling and appreciates the company's strong work-life balance and supportive culture. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and staying active.

Zoe joined Unity in July 2024, after working as a career consultant for a professional education company. Working with Unity charity clients who share a mutual goal of success creates a rewarding dynamic. Zoe likes how Unity promotes an excellent work-life balance that fits well with family life. Outside of work, Zoe is passionate about volunteering, having fundraised for a charity that helps girls in Kenya escape child marriage and FGM.  Zoe understands the importance and rewards of the youth charity sector as her son attended Scouts.
